Ghana’s Election Tomorrow: Ayittey explains their success with democracy

Edit: I initially wrote the elections were today. It was my groggy morning wish that it was really Friday!

One of the more interesting parts of his explanation for their success:

I’m hopeful about this election tomorrow. I’m certain it won’t be perfect. There may even be low-level violence. But I am hopeful that, overall, it will be a good election with a reasonable outcome.
